The beautiful hummingbirds came out in the morning and at dusk every evening. They were very hard to photograph but I got lucky with this one in the front yard. 
The lovely Alberta-shaped pool is in the backyard. This is where we spent A LOT Of time and you can see one of the chairs that we'd use to soak up some sun. 
Celeste didn't use her princess floatee that much, but Jake made certain that it didn't go to waste. He left Palm Springs with a pretty decent suntan. 
There was a whole bush full of these gorgeous tropical flowers. I think they might be Hibiscus but I'm not sure. They would bloom and then dry up almost daily. 
Jake and I are suckers for a good deal and we did a whole day and a half of shopping. The girls were really great about it. Celeste even got upset when she had to say good-bye to the three-way mirrors at the outlet store above.

Angelica did a lot of sleeping on the trip since she was so young but she too got to come out onto the shaded patio and enjoy the beautiful California climate!
Celeste was a bit shy of the water but she loved to ride around on mommy's back. 
Here are the girls enjoying a cuddle indoors after breakfast one morning. 
Good 'ol Celeste is the only one of us who got any golfing in during our trip. We sure made some special memories!!!
